Indian Gold Futures Hit Rs 1.54 Lakh on Spot Demand

Indian gold futures have reached Rs 1,54,290 per 10 grams, driven by strong physical buying and new speculative entries. The MCX October contract rose 0.86% on a turnover of 2,156 lots, while global prices also firmed up with New York futures hitting $4,392.24 per ounce.
BusinessLine reports that fresh speculative positions drove the October delivery contract up by Rs 1,309, while New York gold futures simultaneously climbed 1.16% to $4,392.24 per ounce. The MCX session saw a business turnover of 2,156 lots as market participants entered new positions.
