Monochrome Exchange begins a seven-day Initial Exchange Offering for its MCR token at a fixed price of $0.88. The sale allocates 10.5 million tokens to public buyers.

Monochrome Exchange opens the Initial Exchange Offering for its native MCR token on September 21. The token is priced at $0.88 per unit. The public sale includes 10,500,000 MCR tokens, which represent 5% of the total supply. Participants commit USDT directly on the platform. The offering window closes on September 28 or earlier if the allocation fills.

The exchange supports over 260 active markets across four asset classes. Users access crypto, equities, ETFs, and commodities from a single account. Tokenized exposure to US and Hong Kong stocks is available. Pre-IPO markets include tokenized shares of private companies. All trades settle on-chain without external wallet requirements.

Vesting Rules Limit Early Liquidity

MCR tokens are locked for one month after the Token Generation Event. No tokens unlock during this initial cliff period. After the cliff, the allocation vests linearly over three months. Tokens are credited automatically to user accounts as they unlock. Team and advisor allocations follow a different schedule. Those tokens are locked for 12 months before a 36-month linear vesting period begins.

Leadership Brings Exchange and ETF Experience

Jeff Yew founded Monochrome Exchange after serving as CEO of Binance Australia. He previously led local operations for the largest cryptocurrency exchange by volume. Yew also founded Monochrome Asset Management. That firm launched the first direct-holdings spot Bitcoin ETF in Australia. The ETF trades on Cboe under an ASIC-issued licence. Monochrome Exchange operates as a separate legal entity from the asset management firm.

Participation Requires No External Wallets

Users must open an account and enable two-factor authentication. Deposits of USDT are credited once confirmed on-chain. Participants commit funds on the offering page during the seven-day window. There is no minimum subscription amount. The maximum subscription per account is $100,000. No bridge, claim transaction, or external wallet is needed at any stage.
