The euro reached an official rate of 1,924,995 rials, up from 1,913,683 rials on the previous day. This daily adjustment reflects the central bank's continued management of the rial's value.
Official rates show broad currency gains
The British pound climbed to 2,244,642 rials, while the Swiss franc reached 2,036,893 rials. The Kuwaiti dinar was valued at 5,436,464 rials, marking a steady increase from the prior day.
Regional currencies also appreciated in the official channel. The Turkish lira stood at 34,354 rials, and the Russian ruble was priced at 19,905 rials. These figures indicate a consistent trend of rial depreciation across major trading partners.
Black market prices remain significantly higher
Unofficial market rates for the dollar range between 2.30 and 2.33 million rials. The euro trades at 2.64 to 2.67 million rials in these parallel channels.
