The euro buying rate is set at 175.82 rupees, with a selling rate of 176.51 rupees. The British pound sterling follows with a buying rate of 205.08 rupees and a selling rate of 205.88 rupees.
Major currencies show stable reference values
The Swiss franc is fixed at 186.22 rupees for buying and 186.95 rupees for selling. Asian currencies show tighter spreads, with the Australian dollar at 108.99 rupees for buying.
The Canadian dollar stands at 109.44 rupees for buying and 109.87 rupees for selling. The Singapore dollar is set at 119.97 rupees for buying and 120.45 rupees for selling.
Asian and Gulf rates defined for trade
Ten Japanese yen are valued at 9.76 rupees for buying and 9.80 rupees for selling. The Chinese yuan is fixed at 22.86 rupees for buying and 22.95 rupees for selling.
The Saudi Arabian riyal stands at 40.76 rupees for buying and 40.92 rupees for selling. The Qatari riyal is set at 42.01 rupees for buying and 42.17 rupees for selling.
