The relegation happened after six matches in Hyderabad. SouL ended with 39 points, just below the safety line. The format reshuffles teams strictly on total points.
Gladiator leads the top group
Gladiator Esports ended the week first with 58 points. They secured one chicken dinner and 34 finishes. Vasista Esports followed closely on 54 points.
8Bit placed third on 51 points, while 7Gods took fourth on 49. 7Gods were the only side to win two of the six matches. Their consistency kept them firmly in the top half.
GodLike barely scraped into the top eight. They collected 40 points, the last safe place. Their 31 finishes did most of the heavy lifting for them.
Champions face a steeper path
SouL’s 39 points came from 27 finishes and 12 placement points. Behind them, Revenant XSpark, Myth, and Nebula also dropped down. This group of teams now faces a harder road.
Group A’s top four qualify directly for the Grand Finals. Teams finishing fifth to 12th enter the semi-finals. Group B’s route is longer and more demanding for its participants.
In Group B, only the top four reach the semi-finals. Everyone else must survive a preliminary stage first. This structural difference makes the initial drop significant.
One week to recover
SouL has one week to fix their standing. A top-eight finish in Group B returns them to Group A. This keeps a direct Grand Finals place on the table.
