ULM Golfers Post 287 First Round at Red Sky Classic

Wolcott, Colorado. ULM women’s golfers faced the autumn air at the Red Sky Classic. The team finished 19th of 20. Their total score was 887, 23 over par. This marked their latest fall season stop.

The first round sparked the most energy. The squad carded a stunning 287. That was their best showing of the weekend. The pace slowed in later rounds. They posted 307 in round two, then 293 to close out.

Mårtensson Leads Individual Charge

Alice Mårtensson anchored the lineup. She shot an even-par 72 on Friday. Her second round was a 74. The final round brought relief. She sank a 69, three under par, to finish at 215.

Her final round was precise. She landed an eagle on hole 15. She also recorded 12 birdies across the event. That effort placed her 41st on the leaderboard. Her consistency stood out against the field.

Veterans Maintain Steady Rhythm

Isabel Mas Pitarch returned to form. She sank nine birdies for a total of 222. Her rounds were 70, 77, and 75. Charlotte Bouquet followed closely. She started with a 72, then shot 81 and 71.
