Avemio AG Reports Revenue Drop and EBIT Loss for 2025

Avemio AG misses revenue targets and posts an operating loss, citing insolvency impacts and lower-than-expected digital segment contributions.
Avemio AG has issued preliminary figures for its fiscal year 2025, projecting consolidated revenue of approximately EUR 79.8 million. This represents a 9% decline from the prior year’s EUR 87.9 million and falls short of the forecast published in the 2024 Annual Report, which had anticipated a slight improvement in revenue. The company noted that these figures are based on the current status of the consolidated financial statements and have not yet been audited.
Operating earnings (EBIT) are expected to land in a loss range of EUR -5.4 million to EUR -6.5 million. This outcome contrasts with the previous forecast, which targeted a return to positive operating earnings, and worsens the prior year’s loss of EUR -4.7 million. According to the disclosure reported by GN markets/earnings (en-US), the target for positive EBIT was not achieved due to several structural and external factors affecting the group’s performance.
Revenue Shortfall Driven by Core Business Restraint
The primary driver of the revenue miss is the continued investment restraint within the company’s core trading business for moving image equipment. Additionally, the digital segment contributed less to earnings than anticipated in the earlier forecast report. These internal performance gaps, combined with external economic pressures, resulted in the consolidated revenue falling below both the prior-year actuals and the internal guidance provided to investors.
Impairment Losses from Teltec Insolvency
A significant portion of the earnings shortfall stems from the economic and balance-sheet effects of the insolvency proceedings involving Teltec AG and other Group companies. As a direct consequence, Avemio AG expects to recognize impairment losses on financial assets ranging from EUR 14 million to EUR 16 million in the consolidated financial statements. This write-off heavily impacts the bottom line, explaining why the EBIT missed the positive target despite other operational activities.
Insolvency Plan Aims for Restructuring
Avemio AG is currently pursuing a going-concern solution for Teltec AG through an insolvency plan. The objective is to restructure the subsidiary and subsequently conclude the insolvency proceedings. However, the necessary coordination and reviews have not yet been completed, leaving the final outcome of these legal and financial processes open. The company emphasizes that the figures remain preliminary until the full audit of the 2025 consolidated financial statements is finalized.
