IVE Group (ASX: IGL) has agreed to acquire digital out-of-home media company Motio in a binding scheme implementation deed. The transaction values Motio at 6 cents per share in cash, representing a 15 percent premium to the company’s closing price on September 18. The deal is currently subject to shareholder, court, and other customary regulatory approvals.
In other small-cap developments, ReNerve (ASX: RNV) completed its first surgical cases using the NervAlign Nerve Cuff in Hong Kong and Malaysia. This milestone marks the product’s transition to commercial use in both markets, expanding the company’s active jurisdictions to seven. ReNerve reported record FY26 sales of $510,357, an 88 percent increase from the previous year.
Reimbursement rates boost EBR systems
EBR Systems (ASX: EBR) confirmed that US authorities finalized higher Medicare inpatient reimbursement rates for its WiSE cardiac pacing system. Effective October 1, base payment rates for eligible procedures will rise by approximately 58 percent and 93 percent. When maximum new-technology payments are included, total Medicare payouts could reach US$77,839 and US$66,566 respectively.
Neurotech begins pivotal autism trial
Neurotech International (ASX: NTI) dosed the first patient in its Phase 3 Beyond Harmony study of NTI164 for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. The Australian multi-centre trial aims to enroll up to 200 patients to assess efficacy, safety, and tolerability. These results build upon data from the company’s earlier HARMONY study.
Rare earth assays show potential
American Rare Earths (ASX: ARR) released initial assay results from feasibility drilling at its Halleck Creek project in Wyoming. The first six holes returned near-surface mineralization with an average grade of 3,497 ppm total rare earth oxides. Ninety-three percent of sampled intervals exceeded the project’s 1,000 ppm resource cut-off grade, with results from 12 additional holes pending.
These corporate updates arrived as the ASX 200 remained flat, down 4 percent this month amid inflation concerns.
