ProCredit Selects Cloud Treasury Platform for Ten European Banks

ProCredit is rolling out a new cloud-native treasury system to standardize operations across its ten banks in Eastern Europe.
Key points
- ProCredit will deploy a cloud-native treasury platform across its ten banks in Eastern Europe to standardize operations.
- The system uses a single-tenant architecture to ensure data isolation while allowing for local regulatory compliance.
- Teciem, the technology provider, recently became an independent business backed by Apax Funds with over 340 clients.
ProCredit group has chosen a new cloud-based treasury platform to standardize financial operations across its network of ten development-oriented commercial banks. The move aims to simplify how the group manages capital, reporting, and risk while allowing each local bank to comply with specific regional regulations.
By shifting from traditional on-premise systems to a cloud-native model, the group intends to increase automation and reduce the operational burden on its technology teams. As reported by FinTech Global, this infrastructure upgrade is a key part of the group's strategy to support its next phase of growth in South Eastern and Eastern Europe.
Cloud infrastructure meets local regulatory needs
The selected solution, known as Kondor Up, is a cloud-native evolution of an existing treasury platform. It is designed to handle the full trading lifecycle, from front-office activities to back-office reporting. This approach allows ProCredit to maintain a unified group-wide infrastructure while retaining the flexibility needed to meet country-specific requirements in each market where it operates.
A key technical feature of the deployment is the use of a dedicated single-tenant architecture built on Kubernetes-based cloud infrastructure. This setup is intended to provide strong data isolation and resilience, which are critical for banks managing sensitive financial data. The system also ensures continuous access to software updates, reducing the need for major manual upgrades.
Vendor independence drives market expansion
This agreement arrives at a significant moment for the technology provider, Teciem. The company recently became an independent business following the separation of a major division from Finastra earlier this year. Backed by Apax Funds, Teciem launched in February 2026 with a client base that includes more than 340 financial institutions, among them 70 of the world's top 100 banks.
The partnership with ProCredit serves as an early validation of the new platform's capabilities. By adopting this technology, ProCredit becomes one of the first organizations to use this next-generation treasury infrastructure. This signals that the vendor is successfully translating its established market presence into a modern, scalable offering for development-focused banking groups.
Strategic focus on automation and growth
ProCredit’s leadership views this deployment as a tool to drive greater automation across its operations. Christian Dagrosa, the group’s chief financial officer, noted that the platform’s capabilities would help the group broaden its product offerings. The goal is to underpin future growth ambitions by making the underlying technology more efficient and responsive to business needs.
There are inherent trade-offs in this transition. While the cloud model offers scalability and lower operational requirements, it requires a shift in how the organization manages its IT infrastructure. The company emphasizes that this change allows teams to focus on strategic priorities rather than routine maintenance, positioning the group for long-term stability and innovation.
