Fanatec Unveils Unreleased Sim Racing Hardware in Tokyo

Corsair has confirmed that its subsidiary Fanatec will showcase unreleased sim racing hardware at Tokyo Game Show 2026. The parent company stated that the Formula-style simulator at its booth will incorporate products that are still in development. This provides attendees with an early look at where the hardware ecosystem is heading, although no specific product names have been disclosed yet.

The event takes place from September 17 to September 21 at Makuhari Messe in Japan. According to GN technics/hardware (en-US), the most significant aspect of this announcement is the inclusion of development-stage items. While the company has not identified these products, their presence on the show floor confirms that new hardware is physically ready for public demonstration, even if it is not yet commercially available.

Unidentified Development Hardware

The distinction between announced and unannounced products is critical for attendees. Corsair specifically noted that the Formula configuration will use products still in development. This means there are currently no official specifications, product names, prices, or release dates attached to these items. The Fanatec area will feature several playable configurations covering different use cases. These include a Formula-style setup, a Gran Turismo-focused cockpit, and a GT3 endurance-inspired simulator. Additionally, a compact desktop configuration will be available, utilizing the Gran Turismo DD Pro 5 Nm wheel with Gran Turismo 7. This variety allows visitors to compare different driving experiences and hardware styles within a single booth.
