Beats has released the Beats 360, a new pair of wireless over-ear headphones. The device targets gym users who need durable gear. It features interchangeable parts and water resistance.
According to GSMArena, these headphones use harder materials to withstand sweat and daily wear. They are the first Beats model with an IPX4 rating. This protects against splashing water, which is useful during intense workouts.
Customizable cushions and headbands
The headphones ship with knit mesh ear cushions. Users can swap these for a soft leather option. Both types come in several colors, including black and pink.
A separate kit allows replacement of both cushions and the headband. This lets users mix colors or replace worn-out parts. The kits cost $50, though they are initially sold for $10.
Strong sound and noise blocking
New dual-magnet drivers produce 12dB higher output than previous Beats Studio models. This results in louder and clearer sound. The system also includes better damping for improved clarity.
Active noise cancellation blocks 1.75 times more noise than the Beats Studio Pro. Nine microphones help adjust the cancellation automatically. This feature works alongside adaptive sound tuning for each user.
Battery life and connectivity trade-offs
