Turkey Escalates Action Against LGBTQ+ Groups
Turkish authorities have escalated their legal crackdown on LGBTQ+ groups, resulting in the detention of over 160 people and the blocking of numerous digital platforms. While the government frames the action as a defense of family values, international human rights bodies and local demonstrators are condemning the raids and arrests as a widespread suppression of civil society.

The report also highlights that dozens of social media accounts and websites belonging to rights and media organizations have been blocked or restricted as part of the 'My Family is Safe' campaign.
