Toyota has delayed the Highlander EV to 2028, creating a potential inventory void as the company confirms it will not extend production of the outgoing gas-powered model. This production gap, which also affects the Subaru Getaway, leaves buyers with limited options for three-row SUVs while rivals gain market share.
