China Launches 250 Billion Yuan Push for Smart Home Adoption

Beijing is rolling out a major subsidy program to drive the adoption of connected living spaces, targeting both new builds and retrofitted older homes.
China has announced a comprehensive action plan to accelerate the integration of smart technologies into residential spaces. The initiative, coordinated by eight government departments including the Ministry of Commerce, aims to expand the supply of high-quality smart home products while simultaneously addressing the needs of aging populations.
