Ultrahuman has launched the Ring Pro, its most expensive smart ring to date, priced at $479. The device marks a significant departure from previous models, featuring a noticeably heavier and thicker titanium construction. While the company aims to compete directly with market leader Oura, the new ring introduces a complex array of health data that many users may find difficult to interpret or act upon.
According to a review published by GN auto tech/wearables: wearable tech, the Ring Pro does not simply match the capabilities of its primary rival, the Oura Ring 5. Instead, it offers a distinct experience characterized by experimental metrics and a more substantial physical presence. However, the trade-off for this depth of data is a user experience that can feel cluttered and confusing, particularly for those accustomed to simpler health dashboards.
Design shifts toward heavier construction

Despite the breadth of data, the review highlights that the complexity can be a barrier to effective use. The app suggests specific actions based on circadian phases, but users reported difficulty understanding how to apply these insights to their daily routines.
