AI Convenience May Lower Academic Expectations for Students

The widespread adoption of artificial intelligence in academic settings is creating a troubling paradox. While the technology offers convenience, it is simultaneously eroding the foundational skills universities rely on. For students, this means they may graduate with degrees but without the underlying cognitive infrastructure to apply that knowledge effectively.
