Orienspace Breaks Sea Launch Records with Gravity 1
China's private sector is reshaping satellite deployment as Orienspace set national records for sea-based payload weight and altitude with its Gravity 1 mission. The company is now advancing toward the debut of its larger, reusable Gravity 2 rocket to further lower costs and support massive constellation builds.
According to GN auto tech/space: satellite deployment, Orienspace is developing the Gravity 2, a reusable liquid-fuel rocket designed to carry 21.5 tons to low-Earth orbit, which the company says will significantly reduce launch costs and complement the solid-propellant Gravity 1.
