The conversion was executed by Shift Electric Vehicles, a specialist shop in Albany, Oregon. The team installed a motor, electrical systems, and a 75 kWh battery pack sourced from a 2016 Tesla Model S. These components were chosen because they fit neatly into the Silver Shadow’s undercarriage, aided by the car’s ample ground clearance. The integration is subtle, with the infotainment screen discreetly hidden in the trunk to maintain the vehicle’s vintage aesthetic.

The decision to use Tesla parts was practical, as the manufacturer declined to handle the project directly.
