EKA Mobility has opened its first dealership in Hyderabad, expanding its electric commercial vehicle network in Telangana through a new partnership with Sked Ride.
EKA Mobility has inaugurated its first dealership in Hyderabad, marking a significant expansion of its electric commercial vehicle network in Telangana. Located on Miyapur Main Road near JNTU College, the facility is a joint venture with Sked Ride Pvt. Ltd. and serves as a dedicated hub for sales, service, and spare parts distribution.
The outlet offers a comprehensive range of electric cargo solutions, including the AVI 3W Cargo, AVI 3S, and AVI 6S three-wheelers. It also covers larger transit needs with the EKA 7M, 9M, and 12M bus models, as well as the heavy-duty EKA55T electric truck. This broad portfolio allows local businesses to address various logistics and passenger transportation challenges with a single supplier.
Integrating Fleet Management Technology
Beyond simple vehicle sales, the dealership provides a 3S service model that includes maintenance and genuine spare parts support. The company supports this physical infrastructure with EKA Connect, an AI-powered platform that enables fleet operators to monitor vehicle performance in real time. This digital integration is designed to maximize vehicle uptime, which is critical for logistics companies that rely on consistent delivery schedules.
Supporting Regional Commercial Applications
According to reports from GN technics/ev, the new facility is specifically tailored to serve commercial applications across the state. Kotta Prithvi Krishna Reddy, the owner of Sked Ride, noted that the dealership will cater to diverse sectors including last-mile delivery, regional logistics, and passenger transport. This targeted approach aims to reduce friction for operators who need reliable after-sales support and consistent parts availability.
Scaling Manufacturing Capacity Across India
The Hyderabad expansion is part of a broader strategy to increase EKA Mobility's production footprint. The manufacturer currently operates three facilities, including plants in Koregaon Bhima and Chakan, Pune. With a new 47-acre facility under development at Pithampur, the company projects an annual capacity of 10,000 buses, 24,000 small commercial vehicles, and 4,000 trucks. This growth addresses the rising demand for zero-emission commercial fleets while balancing the trade-off of high initial infrastructure costs against long-term operational savings.
