Dreame Launches Two Devices to Improve Indoor Air Quality

Dreame has expanded its product lineup beyond robot vacuums to include air management devices. The company recently released two new units: the MF10 bladeless fan and the AP10 pet air purifier. Both products aim to address specific discomforts in living spaces, targeting uneven air distribution and the accumulation of pet hair.

The MF10 is designed to move air across larger areas, while the AP10 focuses on capturing airborne debris from pets. According to reports from GN technics/smarthome (en-US), these devices represent a shift toward more specialized smart home solutions for everyday comfort.

The MF10 Fan Prioritizes Wide Coverage

The MF10 utilizes a dual GyroWing system to achieve 180 degrees of horizontal and 90 degrees of vertical movement. This design allows the unit to cover spaces up to 538 square feet, making it suitable for bedrooms and home offices where air tends to stagnate. It offers ten speed settings and a TempSync feature that adjusts airflow based on room temperature, reducing the need for manual adjustments.

While the fan includes a washable filter to catch large particles, it is not intended for full air purification. Users can control the device via a touchscreen, remote, or through smart home platforms like Alexa and Google Home. The primary trade-off is that it moves air rather than cleaning it, so it serves best as a circulation tool rather than a health-focused purifier.

The AP10 Targets Pet Hair Directly

The AP10 is specifically engineered for households with cats and dogs. It features a 360-degree intake that pulls in dander, hair, and odors, with a CADR rating of 254 CFM. A transparent compartment allows owners to see the collected fur, which can be satisfying or concerning depending on the level of shedding in the home. The unit operates in four modes, including a Sleep mode that stays below 31.9 decibels.

Safety features include a bite-resistant power cord and an anti-tip system that shuts the unit down if knocked over. The top surface is designed to serve as a resting spot for cats. However, the visible hair collection requires regular emptying, and the device is best suited for rooms between 323 and 592 square feet.
